Even if someone is dormant, still it is better for that person to live than to die, since if someone is alive silently, there is a chance that, that person will raise the voice someday. If someone is already dead, that probability is lost. As per the situation is, one may or may not revolt today. However, death brings us to point after which, the questions may still remain, however the answers will be all lost.
I guess if there is an option for someone to choose between life and death, then the person must be opportunist and select life.

As Budda said, "Life is suffering". No one could ever escape this suffering. So why wait, just to suffer a bit less some day? Hopefully!

I think the assumption that you are making here is that everything is finished after we die, which might not be true. Why not be more courageous and look forward to death. This to me seems more positive attitude then to just wait for lesser suffering someday.

You might be right but you might be wrong as well! Why not explore the unknown instead rather than just suffering the known agony. It’s a risk but worth taking, at least on paper. You need courage to actually implement it though!
